The 2011-2012 program year commences on July 1, 2011 and ends on April 30, 2012 for Metropolitan Water District’s commercial, industrial, and institutional water rebate customers. There are important changes to the rebates, terms and conditions, and so please review closely the different pages on this website and printable program materials dated July 1st.

Check this website periodically for program updates.

Key changes as of July 1st include:

  • Rebate for some devices have changed. Please review the Products & Rebates dated July 1st for more information.
  • HET new construction, Ultra low urinals & Zero water urinals upgrade/new construction are all discontinued.
  • Rotating spray nozzles now requires a minimum of 15 nozzles.
  • Large rotary nozzles base rebate increased to $13 per set.
  • A customer address previously rebated through Metropolitan’s regional or its water agency programs are not eligible for another rebate of the same device type. Please review the FAQ dated July 1st for details.
  • $25,000 limit per service address applies to Metropolitan funds only and starts with the new program year July 1, 2011 to April 30, 2012.
  • Applying for a Save Water, Save A Buck rebate is now all web-based. Simply click on “Make a Reservation” blue button on the top right hand corner. Accurate email address is required for status notifications.
  • Rebates are limited up to the actual cost of the device and not to exceed the maximum rebate listed on this website and on the Water Saving Technologies effective July 1, 2011. Unless specifically noted, actual device costs exclude tax, labor, shipping, and other charges. Local water agencies’ additional rebates, if available in your area, may vary depending on the actual cost of the device(s) purchased. Therefore the estimated rebate listed on the agency pages is the maximum amount possible.
