Multi-Family Property HET
Rebate Program
Special High Efficiency Toilet Rebate Program for customers of select water agencies.
This program classifies multi-family properties as apartments, condominiums, townhomes and mobile homes with five dwellings or more that are represented by a homeowners association or property management company.
Available Multi-Family property rebates include:
High Efficiency Toilet / retrofit - Replace existing non-efficient toilet of 1.6 gpf or more with HET flushing at 1.28 gpf or less.
High Efficiency Toilet / new construction - Installation of HET flushing at 1.28 gpf or less in new construction.
For more information about Multi-Family HET rebates offered in your service area, please select from the following participating water agencies:
( Tank or Dual Flush or 1.28 gpf or less replacing an existing 1.6 gpf or higher, not replacing an existing 1.28 gpf toilet )
High-Efficiency Toilets (HETs) flush at 20 percent below a ULFT, equating to 1.28 gallons per flush. The average water savings for HETs is estimated to be 38 gallons per day (gpd) when replacing an average, non-efficient toilet and 7 gpd when replacing a ULFT.
Rebates on Ultra-Low Flush Toilets 1.6 gpf (ULFT) are no longer available
